Strong winds due to continue Monday night

Happy Monday, Central Oregon!

An Air Quality Alert for Bend, La Pine, Redmond, Sisters, and Sunriver is in place until Monday at 11pm.

A Red Flag Warning in place for Bend, Madras, Prineville, and Redmond until Monday at 11 pm. La Pine, Sisters, Sunriver, and Warm Springs until Tuesday at 11 pm.

A cold front is moving into the region Monday.

Strong northeast winds of 20-30 mph with local gusts to 40 mph will continue into the evening, then diminish.

Temperatures overnight will be below average, in the 30s, with near freezing temperatures in some areas.

High pressure builds in Tuesday and Wednesday, with clear skies and cooler temperatures.

Highs will be in the 70s to mid 80s, with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Starting Thursday, temperatures will be back above average, in the high 80s, with lows back in the high 40s.
