Possible freezing temps overnight, but warmer days ahead

Happy Tuesday, Central Oregon!

A red flag warning will continue for La Pine, Sisters, Sunriver and Warm Springs Tuesday evening until 11 p.m.

For the rest of Tuesday, expect east to northeast breezy winds up to 20 mph. Tuesday night, we should see clear skies, with lows again into the 30s and lower 40s

A ridge of high pressure will begin to build back into the region overnight With a ridge overhead, a warmup will begin Wednesday, with temperatures getting into the upper 70s and mid 80s. Lows will be a bit closer to average, back in the low 40s.

The high pressure will remain over the area Friday and Saturday, with mainly clear skies and warm temperatures.

A trough of low pressure will move across the region next Monday and Tuesday, bringing partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures.
