Air quality alert in place until Saturday morning

An air quality advisory is in place for all of Central Oregon until Saturday morning.

Our skies will stay mostly clear, but hazy Thursday night. Lows will range from the mid 30s to low 40's, with light and variable breezes through the night.

The clouds will close in over the day Friday and deliver a chance of rain Friday night. Highs will again be in the low to mid 70s and then the mid 40s overnight.

Cold air will come in with this system, so a rainy Saturday will only see highs in the mid to upper 50s. Lows will drop to the 20s to mid 30s, with possible light snow accumulations on the higher ridge tops.

It will stay chilly Sunday, but the storm will break up and we will be left under partly cloudy skies. Highs will warm into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies going into next week.
