Winter Weather Advisory issued December 25 at 1:18PM PST until December 26 at 10:00PM PST by NWS Pendleton OR

* WHAT…Wet snow above 4000 feet. Snow accumulations 6 to 10
inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE…East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.

* WHEN…Until 10 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Periods of moderate and heavy
snow will combine with low visibilities to create difficult
driving conditions. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to
trees and power lines.
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions can be obtained by visiting tripcheck.com online, or by
calling 5 1 1.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
