Clouds return as cold front, showers approach

-GOOD MONDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

The advance of a cold front will thicken our clouds and deliver a chance of showers by late afternoon. Ahead of the front, our daytime highs will stay mild; in the upper 50's to low 60's. SW breezes will be gentle at 5-15 mph. Rain showers are likely tonight and with the freezing level only dropping to about 6,500 feet, only the mountains are expecting any snow. Gentle breezes turn westerly after midnight.

With the passage of the cold front, we will see the chance of rain showers stretch through Tuesday and into Tuesday night. We will also see a significant drop in temperatures as a cold body of air moves in behind the front.

Daytime high will be in the upper 40's Tuesday and mid 40's Wednesday and Thursday. Skies will be mostly sunny Wednesday and sunny Thursday. Under mostly sunny skies Friday, highs will get back into the low 50's. It will be partly cloudy and in the mid 50's Saturday. Sunday will see partly sunny skies with a slight chance of scattered showers, and highs in the upper 40's.
