Late-day rain expected

ktvz

-GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

After a mostly cloudy start to the morning, we will actually see some partial clearing before the next, thicker cloud cover moves in and delivers some late-day rain showers.

Highs will be in the low to mid 40's and SE breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Gentle breezes will turn southerly tonight. Lows will be in the upper 20's to low 30's and mixed showers are expected to taper off around midnight.

Rain showers will resume from late afternoon Wednesday into Wednesday night. More rain is expected Thursday and that will stretch through Thursday night into Friday.

With overnight lows dipping to freezing and a bit below, we will likely see snow mix with the rain, especially at the upper elevations. This weekend, the skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with a 20-30% chance of some scattered snow showers.
