Cool weekend before a warmer week ahead

Happy Sunday, Central Oregon!

Temperatures have been on the chilly side, and we expect them to stay that way for the rest of the weekend.

Forecast highs for Sunday will still be a few degrees below average, with most of the High Desert topping out in the mid to high 60s.

But we don't stay there for long.

Temperatures should increase by about 10 degrees on Monday. Then Tuesday through next Saturday, we should stay in the mid to low 80s, which would be more than 10 degrees above average for this time of the year.
