Nice start to the week

Happy Monday, Central Oregon!

A few clouds will move in Monday night, but there will be no threat of showers. With mostly clear skies, lows will dip to the upper 20s to low 30s, with light and variable southerly breezes.

Temperatures will remain mild through the middle of the week, but clouds will thicken and we will see scattered showers move in as early as late Wednesday night. The chance of showers gets stronger Thursday, and that is when we will see colder air press in from the northwest.

Highs Friday will be in the mid 40s, with a slight chance for snow. The chance of showers will break up Friday night.

Look for partly cloudy skies through the weekend, along with chilly temperatures. Highs Saturday will be in the low 40s and then in the upper 30s Sunday, with lows dropping into the upper teens to low 20s.
