Chilly morning with continued dry and clear conditions today

Happy Thursday, this morning brings more below freezing temperatures across the forecast area so expect the possibility for some slippery roadways.  Temperatures yesterday did allow for some snow to melt and many area roads are clear but  secondary roads could still be slick this morning.

Today should bring sunny conditions and temperatures a few degrees warmer than yesterday but still a few degrees below normal with a cool NW airflow aloft.

A strengthening ridge of high pressure in the eastern Pacific will continue to guide any moisture to the north of the PacNW today and the next bit of widespread precipitation looks to be coming our way late Friday into Saturday.

This morning, calm winds will pick up to the 5-10mph range out of the Northwest.  Highs will be in the 30s and 40s and lows will be in the teens and 20s again.  Temperatures will continue to warm slightly through the end of the week.
