Warming Saturday ahead of some mountain rain showers, cooler Sunday

Another day filled with sunshine as the mercury in the thermometer gets into the 60s once again.  No clouds once again tonight will allow any heat that we gained today to radiate off into the night sky, so temps will dip once again into the 30s.

Saturday will start out on the sunny side and stay that way most of the day. Winds will pick up in the afternoon as a cold front approaches. Late in the afternoon we begin to notice a decent amount of cloud cover moving in ahead of some rain.  The clouds will lower and thicken after sunset and some light rain and high elevation snow will fall on the Cascades.  The clouds and rain are associated with that cold front and on Sunday the highs will only be in the upper 50s.

Sunday will be defined by a cloudy start then partial clearing as the day moves along. Temperatures start out near freezing once again. The moisture added to the region from the front and mountain rain will allow for widespread frost.  Widespread frost is likely Sunday morning and the roads may be slick.  Look for the region to stay on the cool side after the frontal passage.

Monday will be another sunny day and the temperatures will once again reach the mid-60s.  The warming pattern continues into Tuesday with highs near 70.
