Warm pattern ending, breezy weekend and still dry

The well above normal temperatures are coming to an end as we head into the weekend.  Highs over the past several days have been in the upper 70s and low 80s since last Friday.  That pattern is ending as climatologically normal temperatures are expected over the weekend. No rain is in the forecast until after the weekend.

There will be a brisk component to the forecast this weekend, with winds generally in the 15 to 20 mph range.  Swift or more robust winds will push through the mountain passes, and the Columbia River regions, but Central Oregon is expected be breezy, not windy.

The dry and near normal pattern continues into next week with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.  Clouds move in late in the day Tuesday and rain may fall overnight into Wednesday.

Wednesday will be a cloudy and rainy day, albeit light rain. The rain and clouds will keep temperatures from reaching the 60s Wednesday as highs will be in the upper 50s.

Remember to stay safe if you are out and about this weekend, stay hydrated and if you are on the water, it will be colder than you may expect.
