Dry and mild pattern into the weekend

The next couple of days will be on the dry and mild side as a ridge of high pressure moves over the region.  This will allow us to get plenty of sunshine along with slightly milder temperatures today, the low 50s, trending to the 60s by Friday.

Enjoy the dry pattern while we can as another round of rain and mountain snow will arrive over the weekend.  The timing has been changing and all indications are that the rain will hold off until Sunday. We are looking at temps in the 50s Saturday as clouds move in as the day moves along. The high pressure ridge is now forecast to slow down it’s eastern progression and give us one more dry day before the pattern changes to wet.

Sunday will begin under mostly cloudy skies and there should some cold light rain and drizzle start the day, but it will be short lived.  Later in the day the rain will be off and on but light rain as the atmosphere sets up for the more widespread rain event expected Monday.

Veteran’s Day will be rainy and chilly with a bit of a wintry mix falling from time to time. The highs will be in the upper 40s after starting out in the upper 30s, so not much variation of temperatures during the day.

A mix of rain and some snow mingled in at times will be likely Tuesday and again Wednesday.
