Mild & dry into the weekend before more wet weather moves in

It’s another crisp morning!

After climbing out of the 20s this morning, highs today will reach the mid to upper 50s, with the chance for a couple areas to tip into the 60s. Most areas will reach 60s by tomorrow. Skies should remain clear for the remainder of the work week. Winds will be calm.

Saturday, a small low pressure system will begin to move into the Northwest. Timing of the weekend rain keeps delaying. It looks as if Saturday will be drier than previously thought. We’ll see increasing cloud cover on Friday night into Saturday. Rain will try to form over the weekend, but I think it will struggle. There is a chance of seeing some rain Saturday night into Sunday morning but if anything does form, it will be light and short lived.

A larger, more powerful low pressure system approaching early next week will provide better chances for decent rainfall by Monday.  This system will bring more snow to the mountains and mostly rain for the high desert over the span of a couple days. There is a chance for a wintry mix for some areas.

Happy Thursday and have a great day!
