Wet pattern returns this week
Highs today will be in the mid 40s to low 50s. Gusty conditions near 30mph this afternoon will provide a bit of a wind chill. If you’re attending any of the Veteran’s Day Parades across Central Oregon this afternoon, bring a jacket with a hood. You might want to leave the umbrella at home this time to avoid difficulty with the wind. Lows tonight will be in the 20s and 30s.
Prepare for a rainy week! A series of low pressure and frontal systems will move across the region this week bringing waves of rain and snow, with lighter rain in between. Today, as both a low pressure and cold front move through, we’ll be breezy, cool, and wet. Showers will be off and on today with some clearing in the evening. Rainfall totals will be around a tenth to a quarter of an inch.
Cloudy, but dry conditions are expected for the majority of your day tomorrow but rain will roll back in as the sun sets and we get into the nighttime hours. You can anticipate mostly rain this week, with chances for a wintry mix on Wednesday.
The Cascades will see more snowfall throughout the week.
Rain becomes spotty and chances slim down near the end of the week. I’ll continue to track rain and snow through your week.
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Happy Veteran’s Day and thank you to those who have served. Have a great day!
