Lingering shower Saturday before a calm and cool Thanksgiving Week

Highs today climbed above normal due to a warm front passage overnight. Temperatures will drop again into the low to mid 40s for the weekend and will drop a bit more next week, into the 30s and 40s. Lows tonight will be right around freezing.

Some light, off & on rain today will taper off into the weekend with a chance for an early, lingering shower on Saturday. We'll see some more mountain snow overnight tonight. Only a few more inches are expected but it'll make for a nice coating before you hit the slopes again. Mt. Bachelor reported almost 5ft of snow this week. The mountain reopens for pass holders this weekend and will open for daily operations next weekend.

Next week will be much calmer following this week's active weather-week. There is a chance for a wintry mix to fall on Monday in Central Oregon's higher elevations, but otherwise, a mostly dry forecast–cloudy and cool, but dry.

Have a great weekend, and take care! Happy Friday.
