Update: thunderstorm activity was indicated across Deschutes and Crook Counties, producing a few strokes of lighting and hail. The storm is expected to move to the northeast. Reminder...when thunder roars, go indoors!

Today marks the start of several days of wet weather. The rain arrived this afternoon, and there's a chance for more shower activity later tonight.

As temperatures fall, we'll transition to snow, mainly in the mountains. Snow levels are dropping tomorrow morning so it's possible we may see some light accumulation in lower elevations.

Tomorrow will be chilly and breezy, with highs in the mid 40s to low 50s. Expect on and off rain and snow with some breaks of sunshine.

Tuesday stays cool, with rain mainly in the afternoon.

Ridging begins to take place later in the week introducing a dry, warmer pattern. We could see highs in the 60s to 70s by the end of next weekend.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
