Warming into the weekend but cooler and rainy on Sunday

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

Today is another typical mid-October day. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s. We’re seeing some clouds early this morning but we should get some clearing this afternoon.

Temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s overnight so if you have rodeo plans tonight, dress for cooler weather. You’re likely looking at the lower 50s and upper 40s after the sun sets.

Saturday is going to be a perfect day to visit the pumpkin patch. Temperatures will climb into the upper 60s and lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. Clouds will increase  Saturday, but not until late in the day.

Rain returns overnight into early Sunday morning. Most of the rain will fall early in the day while the afternoon should stay pretty dry for most people. Mountain rain and light snow showers will continue off and on all day Sunday. Snow levels will stay pretty high so the passes shouldn’t be hazardous if you’re planning on traveling through.

Temperatures will drop on Sunday back into the 50s but will warm up into the low and middle 60s next week as rain clears out.

Have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!
