Above normal temps today, showers ahead Tuesday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Today will be the warmest day of the week, with highs climbing into the 70s to near 80 degrees. That is around 15 degrees above normal, as typical highs this time of year are in the upper 50s.

Conditions stay mostly quiet and cloudy. Rain chances become more likely Tuesday as the next system moves in.

Scattered showers will develop Tuesday, with cooler temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. An isolated thunderstorm is possible Tuesday afternoon, but the risk for severe weather remains low.

A cold front moves in midweek, bringing temperatures back down into the low 50s. A few showers may linger Wednesday, along with breezy conditions as the system moves through the region.

We’ll begin to warm up again Thursday with mostly sunny skies. Conditions look quiet as we head into the weekend, with highs remaining in the low to mid 60s through Sunday.

Have a great Monday!
