Cool down Tuesday with periods of rain

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Expect periods of rain Tuesday with cooler temperatures returning to Central Oregon. Highs will only reach the upper 50s to low 60s today.

Showers continue Wednesday, with rain becoming more robust later in the day. Temperatures rebound back into the 70s by the afternoon.

Thursday looks wetter and warmer with highs climbing into the upper 70s. The atmosphere may also become a bit unstable during the afternoon and evening, bringing the chance for a few isolated thunderstorms.

The rain this week is a welcomed sight across Central Oregon as the region has been moisture-starved for quite a while.

Some rain may linger into Friday, but this looks to be the last day of the wet pattern. Conditions dry out heading into the first weekend of June with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and highs returning to the upper 60s and low 70s.
