Cool down Tuesday with periods of rain

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Happy Tuesday!

We're tracking periods of light rain Tuesday with cooler temperatures returning to Central Oregon. Highs will only reach the upper 50s to low 60s today. Winds have eased since Monday, but it could still be breezy at times.

Rain becomes more widespread overnight with lows dipping into the 30s and 40s. Wednesday starts out with dry conditions, but some more robust rain could arrive later in the day. Temperatures rebound back into the upper 60s and low 70s by the afternoon.

Thursday will be warmer with highs climbing into the upper 70s. The warmer temperatures and daytime heating could help spark isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Some rain may linger into Friday, but this looks to be the last day of the wet pattern. Conditions dry out heading into the first weekend of June with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and highs returning to the upper 60s and low 70s.
