Warm and dry Monday, cooler and wetter pattern ahead this week

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Expect warm and dry conditions today before a cool and wet pattern takes over this week.

Highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s Monday under mostly sunny skies.

As the ridge of high pressure shifts east, a series of low pressure systems will move in from the Pacific.

Clouds will increase as we head into Tuesday. We could see a few light showers in Central Oregon with breezy westerly winds. Highs will reach the mid 70s tomorrow.

Wednesday brings the best chance for widespread rain across the High Desert. We could see more off and on showers again on Thursday.

It will feel more like fall midweek with the cooler temperatures dropping to the 60s.

Shower chances continue Friday into the weekend. We're expecting minimal rain by Saturday and Sunday as we begin drying out. Highs will be warmer in the low 70s.
