Tracking sunshine and a warming trend in Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A quiet weather pattern has returned to Central Oregon.

Expect mostly sunny skies Tuesday, with highs reaching the low to mid 70s. We're still slightly below normal for early September, but a warming trend is underway.

Skies will stay clear overnight as lows dip into the 30s and 40s.

Temperatures will feel more like summer by the middle of the week, with highs climbing into the mid-80s Wednesday and Thursday.

A few more clouds will move in Thursday along with stronger winds, but conditions should remain dry.

Expect partly cloudy skies on Friday with highs returning to the low 70s.

Cooler air will arrive this weekend as a low pressure system moves in from the Gulf of Alaska. Highs will fall into the mid 60s, with a chance of spotty showers Saturday before drier weather returns Sunday.

Monday looks mostly sunny and mild with highs in the upper 60s.

This isn't a very active weather week, but we have several beautiful days ahead to get outside and enjoy.
