Heavy Snowfall; More Coming

Mt. Bachelor could receive as much as 12" of fresh snow by 9:00 pm today, with 10-20" more expected by Thursday morning. Westerly winds are expected to reach 20-30 mph with gusts as high as 50 mph. It is snowing on the mountain roads now. Carry chains or traction tires on some roads (they are required on others) and watch for driving conditions to become hazardous very quickly.
