Snow Report: February 28th

An incoming upper level low pressure system will continue to push winter weather into the PacNW over the next several days. High winds, heavy mountain snow and cooler temperatures are expected as the system begins to push onshore.  There’s a Winter Storm Warning along the east slopes of the Cascades including La Pine and Sunriver starting at 4pm this afternoon and lasting until 4am Friday. Heavy snow above 4000 ft is expected; accumulations of 12-24 inches are possible.  Wind may gust up to 60mph.  Sunriver and La Pine can expect 3-6 inches and the Santiam Pass could see up to 20 inches of snow.
