JERUSALEM (AP) — The American embassy is investigating two shootings of Palestinian-American teenagers in the West Bank, the latest of which occurred Saturday. In both shootings, the 17-year-old boys were driving on dirt roads on village hillsides when their families say they were ambushed by Israeli fire. In a sign of waning faith in Israel to adequately investigate the cases, embassy investigators visited both homes to probe the circumstances of the teens’ deaths.
