Sunny today, slightly warmer tomorrow

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

It's going to be a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies. Today's high temperatures will be reaching the mid 70s.

Winds will be relatively light but we can expect some breezy conditions along the east slopes of the Cascades this afternoon and evening.

It looks the smoke from prescribed burns is traveling southward of Sisters. It will also be moving south through Sunriver into the La Pine area.

There are two prescribed burns planned for today. One will take place in the Metolius Basin, approx. half mile west of Camp Sherman. Another one will ignite seven miles south of Crescent.

We're seeing a 5 degree jump in temperatures Wednesday, bringing us back to the 80s.

Expect clear skies tonight with overnight lows dropping into the 40s.

The sunny and dry conditions will persist through the end of the week.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
