Rain showers and breezy conditions today

Happy Tuesday everyone!

The quiet and dry conditions will continue through the morning hours. As we head into the afternoon, we can expect rain showers to spread across the region with some of the heaviest amounts occurring along the Cascade crest.

Breezy conditions will also develop with the frontal passage this afternoon. Today's highs will reach the 60s today in Central Oregon.

Two prescribed burns are set to take place today if conditions are favorable. Operations are planned approx. 10 miles south of Bend and 5 miles east of Sunriver, with another burn 7 miles south of Crescent. Sunriver and south Bend may experience some smoke impacts.

Tomorrow morning looks dry but we may see some lingering showers later into Wednesday. Mostly sunny conditions are expected with highs in the 50s. It's not going to be as warm as it was last week.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
