Cooler temperatures, rain tapers off

Good Monday morning!

We're tracking cooler temperatures today with highs mostly in the 60s. Expect partly sunny conditions.

An atmospheric river is bringing abundant moisture to the Oregon Cascades through the afternoon and evening. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches. The precipitation and possible snow melt could lead to rises on creeks, streams and rivers.

There were some rain showers overnight on the High Desert, but it looks like not much more is expected today. It should be tapering off during the morning hours. You also may notice some stronger wind gusts, especially traveling through the mountain passes.

Tonight temperatures will drop into the 40s under mostly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow we'll see a warm up into the 70s. As we move through the week, we can expect things to hot with temperatures hitting the upper 80s to 90s.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
