Knott Landfill and Recycling Center to be closed Sunday, July 28th for chip-sealing of roads

 BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Knott Landfill and Recycling Center will be closed for road maintenance on Sunday, July 28, Deschutes County officials said Monday

While Knott Landfill is typically open to the public seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., it will be closed Sunday, July 28 while crews chip seal roads within the facility. 

The public is asked to plan accordingly and choose a different day to drop off their waste and recycle items.

Knott Landfill and Recycling Center is located in east Bend at 61050 SE 27th Street. Residents can view traffic conditions at the facility on the queue activity cameras if they want to avoid dropping off items during busy times.
