Report of dead person at SE Bend home brings police, leads to investigation by detectives
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – A report of a dead person at a home in southeast Bend Thursday night led to an investigation involving Bend Police officers and detectives.
Officers responded around 8:35 p.m. to the report of a deceased person at a home near the 60800 block of Raintree Drive, Lieutenant Adam Juhnke said. The location is north of Knott Road and east of SE 15th Street.
“At this time, we have no reason to believe there are threats to the community or residents in the area,” Juhnke said in a brief initial news release.
The lieutenant said he could not provide more details, which will be released as available.
