Slight chance of showers with cooler weekend temperatures

KTVZ

Happy weekend Central Oregon!

Spotty showers are possible Saturday, in the afternoon, though a very low possibility.

The mild pattern continues. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be in the 70s as the region stays well above normal.

Temperatures in the mid 70s are expected on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before a big cool down on Wednesday, with highs near 60 or the upper 50s, with light rain expected Wednesday afternoon.

Air Quality may not be much of a problem, the clouds and cooler temperatures, relative to the summer, have been helpful to firefighters.

The hot spots are no longer present in the Little Lava fire, but may flair up.
