Rain Monday, wintry mix possible in some areas

Hi everyone!

More showers are on the way tonight for the high desert, with lows dipping into the 20s and 30s.

Tomorrow we’re staying cool, with highs only reaching the 40s and 50s. The mountains are expected to get a few more inches of snow, while Central Oregon will likely see more rain. Areas at higher elevations, such as La Pine and Sunriver, may even experience a wintry mix.

Roads may be slick on Monday so please drive carefully.

It looks like we’ll have a short break from the rain and snow on Tuesday, but expect it to start up again on and off throughout the rest of the week.

Halloween is just around the corner on Thursday! If you're taking the little ones trick-or-treating, be sure to bundle them up warm. It might also be a good idea to bring an umbrella, as we're not expecting dry weather.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
