Persistent pattern of precipitation into next week

KTVZ

Today will be the continuation of the rainy pattern that began on Thursday. Mostly cloudy skies today as there is a slight chance for some storms to develop in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 70s today, but only if the clouds clear out, if not it may be tough to get out of the low 70s. Cloudy and cool weather is likely

Sunday will be similar to Saturday with a bit more sunshine but still considered partly to mostly cloudy. The mercury in the thermometer is only going to hit the middle to upper 70s, so the chance of afternoon heating of the storms will be less. Still, I expect a few storms to show up late in the day.

Monday will be rainy and stormy. Highs will only be in the low 70s under mostly cloudy skies. The rain will be likely most of the day and should be off and on. The chance for some thunderstorms is also on the table.

Tuesday will continue the wet pattern with showers off and on. The cooler air will more than likely only support showers, but a rogue thunderstorm is possible.

Rainy conditions are also possible Wednesday. Keep the rain gear handy next week, we should be adding a nice amount of rain to our dry environment. Soaking soils but we may see some minor flooding due to the persistent pattern of precipitation.

Please, Stay safe.
