Wet pattern continues, chances for showers and storms on Sunday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Showers and storms return to Central Oregon today as our rainy pattern continues this weekend.

Overnight lows will drop into the 40s and 50s.

Expect a dry start to Sunday with partly to mostly cloudy conditions.

By the afternoon, there will be chances for showers and storms once again. High temperatures will range between the 70s and 80s.

Prineville remains under an Air Quality Alert until Sunday night.

Temperatures dip as we head into the work week, likely staying below 70 on Monday with rainy, stormy weather in the forecast.

Tuesday keeps the wet pattern going with off and on showers. Although cooler air favors rain, an isolated thunderstorm can't be ruled out.

Be sure to keep the rain gear in the car for the next few days. A wet stretch is settling in, delivering some welcome rain to our dry landscape. We’ll be watching for any flooding issues as this wet pattern continues.
