Cool and rainy pattern continues with the chance for isolated storms

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

An upper level low is bringing cool and wet weather this week. Today, look for highs to only top out in the upper 60s and low 70s. We’ll be clocking in around 6-8 degrees below normal for this time of year. Temperatures will feel a little more like late September.

Rain will continue today. There is a chance to see an isolated storm or two this afternoon, but storm chances are slowly falling off after an active afternoon on Monday. Rain totals will be around a tenth to a quarter of an inch but underneath any storms, local heavier amounts are likely. Abundant lightning, gusty winds, and hail can accompany these storms. If you hear thunder roar, go indoors!

Keep the rain gear handy because showers will hang around through Thursday. We should see a brief clearing into the weekend but rain will return on Sunday.

Temperatures will stay in the 60s and low 70s for the next few days. Near normal temperatures are expected Friday and Saturday.

Happy Tuesday! Have a nice day.
