Dry and mild pattern ahead

Good Monday morning!

We’re tracking a quiet pattern for the next several days as high pressure builds in.

If you’re heading out between 7 and 9 this morning, expect temperatures in the low 30s to low 40s, with a chance for some patchy fog.

It’s Groundhog Day! Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning which means six more weeks of winter. No shadow would’ve meant an early spring… but just a reminder, NOAA says Phil is only right about 35% of the time.

It would be nice to see some more snowfall soon, but for now, above normal temperatures will stick around through the first week of February.

Highs will climb into the low to mid 50s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies.

The dry and sunny pattern continues through the workweek. Wednesday looks to be the warmest day, with highs pushing close to 60 degrees in a few spots.

Overnight, skies stay mostly clear, with lows dropping into the 20s and 30s.

Our next chance for rain shows up next weekend, though it’s still too early to pin down the details.
