The last few days of April look dry and warm

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Central Oregon continues the warming pattern, with highs in the mid to upper 60s today.

Above normal temperatures are expected over the next several days as high pressure builds over the Pacific Northwest, keeping skies mostly sunny.

Smoke from prescribed burns may impact air quality around your area today. Conditions should improve during the heat of the day, but the main impacts usually return late at night and into the early morning hours.

Expect mostly clear conditions overnight, with lows dipping into the 30s and low 40s.

Highs climb into the upper 60s and low 70s across the High Desert tomorrow.

The first day of May arrives Friday, bringing a warm start with highs reaching the upper 70s.

Expect more clouds Saturday, with warm temperatures continuing through the weekend.

The pattern stays fairly quiet for Central Oregon. Shower chances remain limited, but an incoming system could bring rain and possible storms Sunday into early next week. Showers may stay south of the Tri-Counties.

Warmer air moving in from the southwest should keep temperatures in the upper 70s on Monday and Tuesday.
