Heat Advisory in Effect Today

A National Weather Service Heat Advisory goes into effect today from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. High pressure will bring plenty of sunshine, pushing our afternoon temperatures into the low-to-mid 90s for most of our local communities, while the East slopes of the Cascades will see highs in the 80s.

If you have strenuous outdoor activities or yard work planned, it is highly recommended to get them done early this morning or wait until later this evening when conditions cool down. Remember to stay hydrated, check on your neighbors, and keep your pets safe from the heat.

Looking ahead, the warm weather stays with us this week, and we are also tracking gusty winds up to 35 mph developing by Tuesday afternoon. Stay tuned to our live broadcasts for the latest updates on your local timeline!

Don’t forget to download the Local Alert Weather App to stay connected with our team of meteorologists.

You can get access to LIVE radar and receive urgent weather alerts so you’re always prepared.
