Off and on rain through the weekend, cool pattern remains

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A cool and wet pattern will continue through the weekend as a low pressure system meanders over the Pacific Northwest.

Expect breezy conditions today with off and on showers. Skies will remain mostly to partly cloudy, with highs ranging from the upper 50s to mid 60s. There is also a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm, so you may hear a few rumbles of thunder.

It will be chilly overnight as lows dip into the 30s in most spots.

Saturday looks dry to start, but light rain or drizzle could develop by the afternoon. Off and on rain is expected Sunday, along with another slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm.

Highs will remain near the mid 60s on Saturday and Sunday.

Rain should taper off early Monday morning for Labor Day. Highs will climb into the upper 60s and low 70s as a warming and drying trend begins.

Highs will return to the mid 70s Tuesday before warming into the upper 70s and low 80s by the middle of next week.
