BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Bend Police Department is inviting families to stop by its lobby Friday, Oct. 30, for a Halloween treat.

Families with children can visit the department at 555 NE 15th Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up a bag of treats and Halloween safety gear.

While Halloween falls on Saturday this year, police say families are welcome to stop by Friday, whether children are dressed in costume or not.

The event is free and open to families.
