SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Right now, the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District is launching a new online tool to help residents prepare for wildfires.

It's called Fire Away and uses AI to provide district-approved guidance on topics like home protection, evacuation planning, and caring for pets and livestock.

The tool is available 24/7 and can be accessed through sistersfire.com by clicking the “Wildfire Questions” button.

The district says it's an educational resource, not an emergency alert service.
