Oregon Employment Dept. online systems down

KTVZ

A major outage at the Oregon State Data Center has made the Employment Department online systems unavailable, officials said Tuesday morning.

The outage occurred around 7 pm on Monday, July 15th and continues into the morning hours of July 16th .

This affects all systems of the Department including:
* iMatchSkills
* Online Claims
* Call Centers
* External Email

Claimants will not be able to file claims and no payments of unemployment insurance benefits were made as they normally would be on Monday evening.

The Unemployment Insurance Call Center will not be able to take calls or handle claim information as those systems are similarly affected.

The State Data Center has been working on the issue since Monday evening but has no estimate on when the problem will be fixed.
