Three Creeks Brewery celebrates fifth anniversary

KTVZ

July 8th, 2008 — that was the day the first batch of beer was brewed for Three Creeks Brewing Company in Sisters.

This weekend, the brewery celebrated its five year anniversary.

And to help mark the occasion, the brewery launched a new Fifth Annivesary Imperial IPA that will be available for a limited time.

In the last five years, staff say the brewery has outgrown itself. And in the near future, they plan to build a production facility right in Sisters.

Staff credits three things for keeping the company alive this long.

“We’ve got timing,” said Heidi Hauser, marketing coordinator for the brewery. “With the Northwest craft beer craze, it was perfect timing to jump in there. Second is location — Sisters needed something like this, a nice place with pub food and good beer. We are the gateway to activity around Central Oregon.

“And then third, of course, our locals. We want to give a big shout-out to our locals and all of our fans — thank you for supporting us.”

The brewery also hosted an “Around the World” photo contest.

People submitted photos wearing Three Creeks gear while doing a variety of activities.

Several of the pictures were taken in other countries. The top three winners received gift cards.
