New manager at Cascade Youth-Family Center

Richard Streeter, M.Ed. will join Cascade Youth and Family Center as the Program Manager in August.

Cascade Youth & Family Center has provided safety to the runaway, homeless and at-risk youth population in Deschutes County since 1989. Services include emergency and transitional shelter, food and hygiene distribution, family mediation, and crisis intervention for approximately 230 youth per year. Cascade Youth & Family Center is the only outreach program for homeless youth in Central Oregon.

Richard Streeter brings over twenty years of experience serving underprivileged youth and their families. With a Master of Education degree and working on a Master of Science in Counseling, Richard brings a strong academic perspective to the practical experience of running programs for at-risk youth.

Richard served as the Executive Director of the Eastern Oregon Academy in Burns for the past 4 years; he worked with a residential, treatment program for youth in Billings, Montana for 16 years before that.
