Amber Alert issued for abducted SW Wash. teen
An Amber Alert was issued Thursday in Benton County, Wash., for a 14-year-old Kennewick girl who was abducted and is believed to be in danger.
Police are looking for Elizabeth Romero, who was last seen getting into a green Ford Escape at 1800 W 7th Avenue in Kennewick on Wednesday. Her family believes she may be with Edwardo Flores Rosales, 19, and headed to Mexico. Kennewick police are investigating this as a kidnapping.
Elizabeth Romero is an Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be 5 ft 3 in, weighing 130 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white top, dark pants, backpack and pink purse.
Edwardo Flores Rosales is described as a 19-year-old Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be 5 ft and 9 in, weighing 225 lbs.
They may be traveling in the dark green Ford Escape vehicle. Police do not have a license plate description, but believe the vehicle is a late 2000s model.

At the request of Kennewick, Washington Police Department, an AMBER Alert has been activated in Oregon for a 14-year old female last seen December 4, 2013, getting into a vehicle and believed to be in the company of a 19-year old male. Kennewick Police Department believes the female was abducted, is endangered and may be enroute to Mexico.
According to Kennewick Police Department, on December 5, 2013, an AMBER Alert was activated in Washington State for a child who was last seen December 4th at 11:15 a.m. as she left school for lunch and got into her boyfriend’s forest green Ford Escape sport utility vehicle with a temporary license tag in the window. The female, ELIZABETH ROMERO, age 14, did not return to school and her mother contacted their police department later that afternoon to file a report. On December 5th, the girl’s mother received a text message from an unknown phone number from a person identifying herself as ELIZABETH stating she was headed to Mexico with her boyfriend. The mother asked the person on the phone to send a current photo of her but that was ignored.
Washington State issued an AMBER Alert on December 5th at approximately 1:30 p.m.
ELIZABETH ROMERO is described as a Hispanic female, 5’3″, 130 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing white top and dark pants, and had a backpack and pink purse.
The suspect is identified as EDWARDO FLORES ROSALES, age 19. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9″, 225 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Kennewick Police Department advises ROSALES is wanted for Kidnapping and an arrest warrant was issued.
