A 24-year-old man wanted on an arrest warrant for drug charges was spotted driving in northwest Redmond and arrested Tuesday, and found to possess methamphetamine, heroin and Oxycodone, police said Wednesday.

Redmond officers observed Mickey Robert Witt driving around 2 p.m. Tuesday in the area of NW Fifth Street and Cedar Avenue, said Detective Sgt. Brad McMurrian. They stopped his car and took him into custody.

A subsequent investigation found Witt possessed drugs including meth, heroin and Oyxycodone, the sergeant said.

Witt was taken to the Deschutes County Jail in Bend and booked on the felony arrest warrant and new drug possession, delivery and manufacture charges.

A jail officer said Witt was released from jail Wednesday after posting 10 percent of his $25,000 bail.
