U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle registration open

The 39th Annual U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle online registration is now open. The event this year is May 16th, 2015.

The U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle is a multi sport event that includes Alpine and Cross Country skiing, cycling, running and kayaking. The race is produced and a benefit for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation.

The mission of MBSEF is to be the Northwest’s leading youth sports training organization, promoting the positive values of competitive sports including Alpine and Nordic Skiing, Snowboarding and Cycling.

This event is presented by U.S. Bank and sponsored by Les Schwab, the Hasson Company Realtors, St. Charles Health System, Big Foot Beverages, Mt. Bachelor, Bud Light, Desert Orthopedics, NW Brain and Spine, Five Talent, 92.9, The Bulletin, Old Mill District, News Channel 21 and Fox Central Oregon.

The U.S. Bank Mini Pole Pedal Paddle will take place in the Les Schwab Amphitheater, May 17.

Teams of six participants each ranging in age from 1st to 6th grade compete in river rafting (with a rafting guide), biking, an obstacle course and a run. All 6 team members paddle the raft with their rafting guide on board. One bike rider then rides the course. Four members each challenge the obstacle course and one final member runs the distance run course.

The U.S. Bank Mini Pole Pedal Paddle is presented by Bend Memorial Clinic, Hasson Company Realtors and MBSEF.
