‘100 Days of Caring’ for Cascade Youth & Family Center

KTVZ

Cascade Youth & Family Center is looking to collect 100 tents, 100 cases and 100 sleeping bags (good for below 0 degrees) in the next 100 days before the start of winter.

Last January, the Point-In-Time Homeless Count identified 892 homeless youth under the age of 18 who were homeless in Central Oregon. You can help provide a lifeline to 100 youth who are without a place to call home during the worst of the winter months.

Yes, we do need more permanent solutions for the issue of homelessness in Central Oregon. Meanwhile, you can be part of the response that can make the difference between life and death while a teenager is waiting for those solutions.

Donations may be dropped off at 19 SW Century Drive between the hours of 9am and 7pm.

Financial donations to purchase these items may be made online at www.cascadeyouthandfamilycenter.org , dropped off, or mailed to 19 SW Century Dive, Bend, Oregon, 97702.
