VertFest festival returns to Mt. Bachelor

Nearly 200 people took part in Sunday's VertFest at Mt. Bachelor, a backcountry festival full of uphill skinning and downhill shredding, along with a costume contest, demos, clinics and more, dedicated to raising the level of snow safety education and supporting the efforts of the Central Oregon Avalanche Center.
