Madras man killed in McTaggart Road crash
A 28-year-old Madras man was killed Monday night when his car left McTaggart Road and rolled several times, Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies said William Lemus Jr. was heading south on McTaggart Road in the area of J Street shortly after 10 p.m. when he apparently lost control of his 2001 Nissan Sentra on a right-hand curve.
The car left the east side of the road and rolled several times, according to deputies. They said Lemus was thrown from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
