Tracking Fire Weather Concerns for Saturday

Enjoy the beautiful 90-degree sunshine for the rest of today, but grab a jacket for tonight as the winds pick up with gusts around 30 mph and temperatures drop into the 50s. Saturday brings a welcome drop into the low 80s, but the main story is a Red Flag Warning from 3 PM to 8 PM Saturday. With humidity dropping down to a very dry 9% and afternoon wind gusts reaching 35 mph, any fire that starts will spread incredibly fast—so please avoid outdoor burning and use extra caution. We will clear out nicely for a beautiful, calm Sunday in the 80s before the 90-degree heat climbs right back in next week!
